The game started to die when the new renderer patch came out, this instantly nixxed a large population who if they were lucky the game still ran but really bad and at worst the game no longer worked for their setup. They've made slow steady progress on improving this version of the engine renderer but amd users will not get over 50 fps at the start of a game. Then after they did all that nonsense for whatever reason, I WOULD LIKE A REASON, I assume there were future changes that would be either, stupid to implement into an old engine just to move it over, new renderer engine allowed for a lot of future plans to start being laid out, I dunno, but it peevd me pretty good when my friend could no longer play and they provide 0 branches of their software so unless you backed up the old version and then circumvented the DRM provided by steam there was literally no way for you to play the game you just bought anymore, boo hoo buy a new computer, i know.

Fast forward to now and theyve changed core combat mechanics so many times peoples heads are wound 900°. Personally I love where the game is at, theyve made combat pretty tight at this point and it mostly comes down to bluffing what move you are attempting to do and countering your enemies expectations, it can be frustrating when you are outsmarted but I feel like they went back to the drawing board came up with a new baseline and we're gonna start to see a lot more improvements all around. People keep asking for content updates and I want them to put a shotgun barrel into their mouth. I mean how hard would it really be to provide a pre-renderer change branch of the game for people to use instead of the current version, or, and I know this is like asking jesus to ressurect but, do something like say rust is doing and do inclusionary work rather than exclusionary, again a reason and some minor explanation of the reason behind switching the renderer engine version would clear a lot of this up for me, just baffling really. EARLY ACCESS I KNOW, but why can't they do a few things to please people. No lets add australian servers and west coast servers that no one plays on and then once we burn through the funds we can be forced to start work on another game /rant.

The update that killed the game for was the one where they massively increased the cost of all drops, and increased the cost of the blue crates. They put the nail in the coffin in the latest perk rebalance when they removed leather hide and mangler, at that point I lost all hope and uninstalled. Before those two patches I was prepared to upgrade my GPU more or less so I could run this game at better settings and higher fps, nothing else motivated me like that I have no interest in witcher 3, or GTA V, and only a mild interest in dark souls 3, but the changes they made to the economic system of the game made it so you basically had to play constant aggro with combat they never quite got fixed. Even if it were polished perfect and clean I still wouldnt want this game to be focused solely on that combat. Aggressive players built up func faster and had the upper hand with better drops and looted goods, but there used to be an element of out thinking the more combat oriented players getting a lesser drop but using a good strategy.

That second part is mostly gone and that is why this game (for me at least) is dying, they've distilled the old large player base into a concentrated portion with a specific play style while basically ignoring the rest of us. Project octopath traveler release date template. So we drop our negative reviews and leave. The delay is a consequence of your choice + the interp and ping of all the players to the server and that networking mumbo jumbo, it's a step towards what is right, previously you would throw shots in front of where people were running rather than right on them, sure it's not perfect and you can still ghost hit and back up which is a huge strategy but before it serioiusly felt like you could setup a shove like a god damn trap on the ground, lay it out in the air for someone to run into 2 seconds later. Imagine what will happen if you wait a little bit and they make huge performance improvements both server side and clientside, eliminating multiple sources of loss and gaining accuracy while keeping a pretty minimilast approach for now. I mean look at h1z1's weapons. They added an AK like 300 years ago and people don't give a crap, theres like 0 new content besides the recently released modes and there are literal holes in the map you can just fall through, the game is way more broken and way more featureless and you are gonna gripe about a slight delay in raising your god damned fat arms up to block.

Shoot 1up About This GameWhy play shoot 'em ups one ship at a time?Launch them all at once!

You are trying to tell me the act of blocking takes 0.000001th of a nano second, your arms literally friggin teleport up into a blocked position.
