At Jamestown I get a very balanced school experience. The students get many opportunities to learn and grow. Sports and extracurriculars are highly encouraged and I take part in many of them. I do every cross country/track and field season. I am in art club, key club, and spanish club. Our honor societies are also highly encouraged; I will be inducted into the spanish honor society this year.

The most of the teachers are very good and help all the students. I feel like I have many opportunities that other kids at different schools might not, and I am very grateful. Jamestown is a very good environment that makes learning feel safe and fun. The teachers will help you do whatever it takes for you to succeed, as long as your'e willing to put in the work. Many of the students here are straight A students so it motivates you to do well and keep up with your peers. Clubs and organizations at Jamestown are a very good way to stay connected and meet friends that are interested in the same things you are. You even have the chance to start your own clubs which is an amazing opportunity.

Not only is joining a club a good way to make friends but so is joining a sports team. Sports at Jamestown are very competitive but there are also teams that don't have tryouts so there is no excuse to not stay active. My experience at Jamestown High School has been some of the best times of my life. The students here are very involved and made me feel comfortable with everyone around me. What I would like to see change is the diversity there’s not a very good mix of students and sometimes I find myself being the only one of my race in my class. However, overall the teachers are great and always there to help.

They try to be very flexible with their schedules to get you where you need to be. I would recommend this school for anyone moving to Williamsburg.
